Digital Marketer

Background:

Chronologic is a B2B supplier of time and attendance, and workforce management systems. It supplies a range of systems and products to techie and non-techie people in a wide range of businesses and market sectors.

The business primarily relies on the company’s websites to generate sales enquiries. However, there is a need to widen audience engagement by increasing the range of marketing channels used and by increasing the number of direct and indirect marketing activities.

This position is key to the business and provides an opportunity to engage in a broad range of marketing activities and initiatives. To execute the full range of activities, a contribution to developing the marketing strategy and campaign roll-out programme is required.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketer to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing and a proven track record of driving online traffic and increasing brand awareness. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing marketing campaigns that promote our company and products. You will play a major role in enhancing brand awareness within the digital space as well as driving website traffic and acquiring leads / customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for our website, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
  • SEO and SEM Management: Optimise website content for SEO, manage paid search campaigns (Google Ads), and track performance to ensure high ROI.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow our social media presence across platforms such as Facebook, and LinkedIn. Create and schedule posts, engage with the audience, and analyse performance.
  • Email Marketing: Design and execute email marketing campaigns, segmenting lists, and personalising content for specific industries to improve open and click-through rates.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, and Google Search Console to measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the sales and support teams to ensure brand consistency and marketing alignment.
  • Monitor Budget: Provide insight, recommendations and allocation to improve exposure and ROI.

The Experience You Need:

  1. A digital marketing degree or equivalent or a minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing role, either in-house or at an agency, with a strong track record of generating sales leads through digital activities.
  2. Excellent writing skills and verbal communication abilities.
  3. Writing and dispatch email marketing campaigns.
  4. Practical experience with Google Analytics (including GA4) and Google Search Console (GA4 not essential).
  5. Demonstrated experience managing a website to generate high-quality sales leads.
  6. Proficiency in independently managing Google Ads.
  7. Experience using various social media advertising channels and scheduling / measurement tools.
  8. Strong analytical skills.
