Women in Tech – International Women’s Day 2021

International Women's Day

As a Business Software and Tech company, it is our responsibility to be as open and honest about our role in ensuring diversity in the tech industry as all others.

Chronologic might have a way to go until we are as big as Microsoft or SAP, but we too have our part to play in opening the door for women in tech. So, what better time to start the conversation, than after the 2021 International Women’s Day.

The Facts:

A Tech Nation report that looked into diversity in UK tech companies revealed that 77% of tech director roles are filled by men and only 19% of the tech workforce are women.

Our Company:

At the time of writing, Chronologic is currently comprised of over 40% women, with nearly half of these team members directly involved in the handling and demonstration of our software.

We currently have no female tech support members but will make an asserted effort moving forward to create job adverts that are as inclusive and attractive as possible to all (as and when positions become available).

Our Promise:

In 2020, the Chronologic Training Programme was launched. 50% of team members in the programme were women, and all have received a promotion due to this upskilling.

We strive as a company to not only continue hiring women in tech but invest in enabling female team members to grow to more senior, leadership positions.

To us, this is all part of growing an inclusive team to run the business. Without diversity, businesses will fail to see outside their own worlds, and we want to make sure that our workforce products, and the benefits they bring, are attainable to all.
